- From website visitors & customers: Name, business name, business type, phone/WhatsApp number, email address, website or Google Business Profile URL, and purchase details when buying digital products or submitting through our Free Audit form, Contact form, or WhatsApp.
- From clients: Billing details, Google Business Profile access, social media account access, and website access credentials, as required to deliver contracted services.
- Automatically: Standard website usage data via Google Analytics (pages visited, device type, approximate location).
2. HOW WE USE INFORMATION
- To respond to audit and contact requests
- To deliver contracted services (managing Google Business Profile, social media, automation systems, etc.)
- To send service-related communication via WhatsApp or email
- To improve our website and services
We do not sell personal information to any third party.
3. THIRD-PARTY PROCESSORS
Form submissions are processed via FormSubmit (formsubmit.co) and delivered to our business email. We use Google Analytics for website traffic insights. Client-facing automations may use WhatsApp Business API, Meta Business tools, Google Business Profile APIs, and workflow automation platforms (such as n8n) to deliver contracted services. These providers may process data outside India and operate under their own privacy policies.
4. DATA WE PROCESS ON BEHALF OF CLIENTS
For clients using our automation systems (for example, review auto-reply or appointment reminders), we may process personal data belonging to the client's own customers or patients — such as names, phone numbers, and review content — strictly to deliver the automation the client has subscribed to. In this capacity, MarsEdge acts as a data processor on the client's instructions; the client remains responsible for obtaining their end customers' consent. Healthcare clients are responsible for ensuring patient consent is obtained under applicable medical and data protection regulations before enabling any automation involving patient data.
5. DATA RETENTION
We retain enquiry and client data only for as long as necessary to deliver services or as required by law, after which it is deleted or anonymised.
6. YOUR RIGHTS UNDER THE DPDP ACT, 2023
You have the right to: access the personal data we hold about you; request correction of inaccurate data; request erasure of your data (subject to legal or contractual retention needs); withdraw consent at any time; and lodge a grievance with our Grievance Officer below, with the right to escalate to the Data Protection Board of India if unresolved.

8. SECURITY
